Some of the activites the Pack 999 participates in throughout the year are:
Raingutter Regatta: Scouts use a kit to build a trimaran sailboat that is “wind-powered” by blowing on the sail. They can work to make their boat more aerodynamic, and they can decorate it. The Cub Scouts then race their boats in waterfilled rain gutters at a campout.
Pinewood Derby: This is where you and your child will transform a block of wood, some nails, and four wheels into a race car to compete head-to-head for Pack victory. The pack provides one derby kit per Scout.
Blue and Gold Banquet – An annual celebration of the birthday of Scouting and a time to celebrate all that your Scout has achieved over the year. This is when Scouts are promoted to the next rank.
